As a citizen, you can do the following without logging in :

  1. Search for the involvement of any vehicle in crimes in West Bengal against a database of 139611 vehicles by visiting Vehicle Search
  2. Locate any police station in West Bengal on the map, and get information about it by visiting Police Stations

For authorized police-officers , it is a web-accessible database of 957668 records of crimes, 995178 criminals, and 1069982.0 linkages between the two.

This application was created for the use of police officers of West Bengal by Shri Sanjay Singh, IPS, (WB:1992), and went online in August, 2015.

It was nominated for DG, NCRB's trophy for in-house IT development in the same year, and was shortlisted in the 5-best applications from amongst 47 entries sent by 19 police organisations across the country. It received high commendation from DG, NCRB.
